CINDERELLA AND THE COACH-THE POWER OF STORYTELLING FOR COACHING SUCCESS

This was a terrific course. I took it myself as continuing education for coaches. I am pleased to be an affiliate of Story Coach, Inc.

Lisa recently (January 2010)  began a new 12 week program at a substantial discount that was available until the end of December.     However, if you missed it, be sure to  check out when she will offer it again, or check into some of her other offerings.

Lisa will teach you everything  she knows about Storytelling and how you can integrate it with your coaching, your training and your business!

Learn how stories can be an incredible tool for accessing people’s emotions, core beliefs, sense of self and new awareness.  This course is wonderful and Lisa Bloom, the instructor, creator is too.  The course is approved by ICF if you want/need to take some advanced training as a coach.  More importantly, you will learn some fabulous new ways of working with clients to add to your coaching repertoire.

I can’t recommend this highly enough and it is really fun, as well, if you come prepared to do the work!

I am so pleased to have joined the company of coaches who use story and to call myself a story spinner, story seeker, story steward!

Story Coach Parenting Workshops

Children, What a Blessing! – Modern Challenges to Jewish Parenting

This is a series of six workshops inspired by Dr. Wendy Mogul’s ’The Blessing of a Skinned Knee – Using Jewish Teaching to Raise Self-Reliant Children’. Every parent’s greatest desire is that their children have a positive outlook, be well mannered, and self reliant; this has become quite a challenge in our culture.

In a series of six interactive workshops using Storytelling, Coaching and Dr. Wendy Mogul’s insights into the connection between Jewish teachings and key parenting issues, we will -
Discover the unique and the ordinary in your child
Learn about Respect – for child and parent
Look at Over Indulgence and Over Protection
Examine the role of food and eating in our family and society’s culture
Discuss Discipline; tactics and challenges, indepence and self-control

In a material and competitive age, the workshops will guide us to more effective, enlightened and joyful parenting.
